It’s not always essential or even fruitful to substitute one pump with another! Plenty of times it happens that some spare parts are not working properly or efficiently.
Changing the spare parts is all client needs to do to get the unit back to normal.This is the procedure, which happens at Elin Turbo Maschinen.
Our engineering team, are along in your side to accompany you to solve your pump defects, disassemble it, inspect all the spare parts to filter the defected parts which can be repaired, the defected ones which are useless and should be remanufactured and last on the list the repair kit which only needs to be changed.
Repair Procedure
For the spare parts which can be repaired, such as shaft, impeller, mechanical seal,etc.Elin Turbo Maschinen work flow includes, visual surveys on cracks and grain boundaries by the means of Optical microscopy(OM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM), surface engineering ,machining, heat treatment, balancing,etc.
Remanufacturing
the spare parts which can’t be repaired and are useless are sent for being remanufactured The most common parts being manufactured through repair procedure are as following, impeller, shaft, housing, mechanical seal, etc.
Afterwards
Afterwards when all the parts are ready, they are reassembled. The unit is tested. test data sheets are given to client and it’s made sure that everything is running perfectly!
